Apple Cider

...the Cider Press, that is! We helped my Mom & Dad make fresh apple cider last Saturday at The Barn. What a cool process, and what YUMMY apple cider. It is quite possibly the best I have ever tasted. Perfect!

They are pressing again this weekend, and welcome observers to the process. They'll be pressing some Friday, but mostly Saturday, if you'd like to experience it! They are selling it on site, also. Stop in and get yourself some. (It freezes well, too, so you can enjoy it all year long!)

Young's Dairy

We went to Cedarville so I could show everyone my "old college"! It seemed like forever since I've been there, but it was pretty much exactly as I remember it. We stopped at my old hangout, Young's Dairy. It was so neat to take my children there! (: Everyone enjoyed the delicious ice cream, and had fun exploring outside.

Fall Pictures

We just returned from a little family trip-sooo much fun! We spent some time at the Clifton Gorge near Cedarville. GORGEOUS! I have a million pictures from the past couple days, but we will start with these. Our "fall family pictures"

Anniversary!

Today is my Dad & Mom's anniversary!!

Like I've said before, I am sooooo blessed to have grown up with a great Christian relationship modeled. My parents are giving of themselves, and they are so funny together! I am so thankful that God has given them to me! Happy Anniversary Mom & Dad!

Apple Festival

We had a great time selling pulled pork sandwiches (and apples, apple pie, noodles, bread, popcorn hands, hot chocolate, and water-did I miss anything?- yeah, vegetable soup!)

It was really cold, but I had a lot of fun. I was very pleased with the fact that we had MANY return customers, and many recommendations from people. YAY! I'd say they were a success!

Okay.. that may have been the longest Blog Title ever! My Dad & Mom are having a stand at the Apple Festival this year. My mom is selling her totally awesome-better than any restaurant we've ever tasted pulled pork sandwiches. ..and a whole bunch of other things, too! I made the menu boards, and I just finished them and thought I'd share them with you.

If you've never tasted Honeycrisp apples, you don't know what you're missing! And. The kids made the Popcorn hands, and would love to sell them all! *wink,wink* Hopefully, we'll see you there!

Surprise Cookie Treats

Aunt Tiffany surprised the kids with iced sugar cookies after the boys' football game. She got football players for the boys (very fitting), and a ballerina for Gwyneth! They were so excited, and enjoyed the scrumptious cookies!



I may have "borrowed" a piece of Gwyneth's cookie, and let me just say that if you haven't tried Butler's Bakery cookies, you should!

Mug N Muffin

My Mentoring Committee at church put on a Mug N Muffin for the ladies of our church. We opened the "Christian Cafe and Baptist Bakery" in the jaw-droppingly gorgeous home of Helen, and had a great time of fellowship and fun!

A Reminder

Hutch's Blocks

Hutch was playing with blocks this morning, and decided that he wanted to do something to praise God. So, he came up with an idea, and, with a little help from Mommy, made the sweetest thing. Ever!
