You decide! Bonus feature:more of Gwyneth's 6 month pictures

Tricia

Gwyneth

John It's so funny because one person says, "Oh my. Gwyneth looks exactly like you, Tricia!!" But others insist she looks like John. Okay, here you go. Who do YOU think she looks like?!

Also, The Picture People uploaded her pictures. (These are the proofs. That's why there's the funny mark on them.)

Van Wert Fair Starts!

Yipee!!! (that's what the kids are thinking!) Our excitement is a little more subdued.
Actually, we love the fair. Grandma Shirley and Papa Larry got the boys the ultimate ride bracelets. They get to ride as much as they want the entire fair!! (These kids are spoiled. I remember when we got to ride one day) Nancy and I were there yesterday right after picking up Haydn from school, since we knew we'd have to leave by 7:30. Gotta love school bedtimes! John met us there after work. We had a great time, and can't wait for the rest of the week!
The kids rode with Kendall and Luke (Luke decided to sit this ride out)
Grandma Nancy rode the slide with Hutch. Haydn smoked them.
Our kids are all too short to ride the Bumper Cars without an adult. Darn, that meant we had to all ride (:

Gwyneth had a great time, too.
See you at the fair!

Book Club Brunch

Our church had a Summer book club (of course, I took part in it!!!) The book I chose to read was The House that Cleans Itself by Mindy Starns Clark. I was so excited that they chose this book as one of the choices because she is my FAVORITE author. She wrote the Million Dollar Series and the Jo Tulip series as well (you should check them out). This was her first non-fiction book, and it was about House cleaning and organizing-very relevant to me! Last Saturday we had our brunch at church. It was so much fun! I had a great time chatting with all of the ladies. Gwyneth joined me, and she was just an angel!
By the way- I loved the book. I'm working through it, and it is great. I highly recommend it.

First Day of Kindergarten!!!!

Ready to go!! I like to take his picture beside our front tree, since you can see the school in the background! Haydn can actually look out his window and see our house!Haydn started school this morning. To celebrate the First Day of School, we went to out to breakfast with Granny Sharon and Papa Brent. (with their kids, it's tradition to go out to eat the first and last days of school). We had a great time eating with Papa, Granny, Tyler, Alyssa and Andrea. "It kills you to see them grow up. But I guess it would kill you quicker if they didn't." ~Barbara Kingsolver

Baby Dedication

Gwyneth and Camdyn (and Gracie) were dedicated at church today. Basically, this is our public profession that we, as parents, realize that this child is God's and not ours- so we are stewards of this gift-something that shouldn't be taken lightly. Also, that we promise to raise the child in a Christian environment. It was a very precious ceremony, and it made it even more special that our two babies were dedicated together!
Gwyneth means fair or blessed. She is very blessed to have two adoring brothers. The boys love her dearly.Family photoTiff's family
P.S....................Tiffany got a Teaching Job at Van Wert Middle School!!!!!!!! Go Tiffy!
~You will be a wonderful teacher~

Happy 1st Birthday Camdyn!

Camdyn is such a little Jim!His cake was sooo cute (thanks to Nana)

and everyone had a great time in the pool!
Camdyn, we're so glad that you are part of our family! We can't wait to watch you grow up.

Campfire

In the summer, we try to have as many backyard fires as possible. Usually, we have one about every weekend, but this summer we've been slacking! Last weekend we got back into the routine, set up the kids' tent (so they can mess around AWAY from the fire!!) and had a great time. Hutch prefers his marshmallows cold, as he is demonstrating for us in this picture.

A Moment

Life is a journey-not a destination

Whenever we travel, we try to enjoy the trip TO and FROM where you are going. There's no use (especially with three kids) in getting all hung up on getting there in a hurry! On the way down to Indy, we stopped in Muncie at a cool park-and played for awhile (we all did!) John decided that they built this playground before there were "safe" playgrounds-look how tall and dangerous this thing looks. I was scared to death! (yes, that tiny group of people up there is my family!)On the way home, we stopped at this place called the Tin Lizzy- it's a little diner/attraction out in the BOONIES! It is very nostalgic and somewhere your kids (and you) will always remember. They had a building with a bunch off weird little cars and stuff

Great food (okay, I was still waiting on my sandwich here)
an old train you can play on (out back) and tvs at each table with old movies on.

Indiana State Fair- National Percheron Show

We had a SUPER time at the show in Indy! Here is Gracie, mom and dad's littlest! She is about 4 months old, and won 1st place in the Junior Filly show. WAY TO GO- this is such a great honor. She's beautiful.

John even got to show!!! (He was the best one out there in my opinion!!) He showed in the 3 mare class. Here is Gracie, Sarah, and Elizabeth.
Haydn rode an elephant-evidentally something that he's been wanting to do for a long time!

Summer Days

We've been enjoying the many beautiful summer days we've been having lately!Haydn and Nana playing tag Haydn walking Babe
Oh wait! Babe and Gwyneth have matching hair! Grandma Nancy gave Gwyneth a new doll. Her name is Bea. We gave her the doll and she was playing on the floor-and fell right to sleep. I think she likes her.Hutch- at uncle Rex's waiting to pick corn~

CORN!! I froze 12 dozen- and have about 5 more to do!

Getting some lovin'!
