I had my weekly OB check-up this afternoon, and everything looks great! My blood pressure was wonderful (it had been a little high lately), and I didn't gain any weight this week! It's hard to believe that in TWO WEEKS we will be parents of three children. Wow. How exciting!

Haydn had swimming lessons tonight. He takes them at the YWCA in Van Wert, and he absolutely loves them. He had a bad experience at the YM a couple of years ago, and did not want to try it again. I had the wonderful idea of switching to the YW to see if the change of scenery would make him feel more comfortable. I have to say that we are very impressed with the teaching style at the YW. It is so much more laid back and much more like we'd teach our own children to swim. He is doing great-however, he told us tonight that he got in trouble for splashing! I guess he must feel comfortable in his surrroundings, he's acting just like at home. Just like his father, Ha!

Our first post!

Welcome~ We've decided to create a family blog! Haydn is 5, and is loving Pre-K (It's NOT preschool, just ask him!) and Hutch is 2. They are both growing so much and getting to be such big boys!! We are expecting our third (a girl) on February 7th, when I'll be having a scheduled c-section. This is very exciting for all of us, and we are now counting down the DAYS!! Here are some pictures of a recent outing to park on a not-so-freezing day. We didn't stay very long, because it was cold, but we enjoyed the time we got to spend outside playing. We're all looking forward to warmer weather so we can spend more time outside, as we all like to do.
